Recently I had a conversation with a realtor about the multiple offer frenzy that toronto is currently facing. Having clients myself who've been through half a dozen offer presentations, yet despite coming in with strong offers have been unsuccessful, it's easy to see the frustration and disappointment this leads to.
But on the other hand, one family I recently spoke with told me that in their case, they viewed 80 homes and offered on 40 before successfully winning a home. Wow, talk about perseverance! I haven't seen that degree of failure with my clients offers, but the current market requires that you have your finances in perfect order BEFORE starting to look at homes.
