I chose to obtain a formal related education before becoming a Realtor 22 years ago that has allowed some very useful overlaps in my skill set to assist my customers to both buy at better prices and sell for better returns.

I have worked simutaneously as a builder/developer/Realtor for half my carreer. The contacts and experience allow me to help people :

1) fix or improve their homes cost effectively before listing for a better net and shorten time to sell.

2) When buying, there are many opportunites to obtain a "mortgage plus improvements" from major lenders and correct items in your purchased home to bring it up to your expectations.

3) Or simply build new if you wish. Although I am not the principle, my hundreds of newhome sales and years as an Award Winning Builder (ie most of Thornton Creek)provide my clients with top, timely advise from lot site plans to what builder. I offer some project management  help to get you going from home desinger to the right construction and vacant land lender.
