“I’m known for being very caring and concerned about what’s best for my clients, and that also makes me very honest,” says JoAnne. “Very honest sometimes means steering them away from a property because I have the depth and experience to have them look down the road and ask themselves if they can picture their future child playing in that yard? Or is the kitchen layout suitable for a toddler?”
 
JoAnne believes that her experience in the business is what gives her the ability to listen carefully to client’s needs and deliver a home best suited for them.
 
Growing up in a house where buying and selling property was prevalent, JoAnne has always been accustom to real estate. Backed by over 27 years in the business, her experience working in the GTA and establishment in the market is what sets her apart, and enables her to put her client’s needs on the top of her list of priorities.
 
“I am concerned about what is best for the buyer and seller,” says JoAnne. “As an established agent I have time to really ensure their desires are met. When you’re grounded you have the luxury and financial depth to take the time to get to know your client and search until you find the perfect house—never making the client settle.”
 
JoAnne is very well known in the Toronto real estate market, especially the west end, Mississauga, Oakville and Etobicoke, where she has lived since she was a child. Thanks to her experience in these communities, she knows their neighbourhoods inside and out. She is constantly in the community volunteering at events and working to find out what her clients need to know to make real estate decisions.
 
“I’m very active in the church, and my daughter was a national swimmer and son an actor and singer, so I have always been involved in community sports and arts,”says JoAnne. “Being involved in the community, and getting to know it very well has helped me be successful in satisfying my clients needs.”
 
As the recipient of the National Chairman’s Club for top 1 per cent in Canada from 2007 to 2013, JoAnne’s success is not only thanks to her knowledge and experience. Her client’s describe her as savvy, hard-working, tenacious and always committed to their care. The proof is in her referrals and unsolicited testimonials.
 
She has also managed to build many lasting relationships with clients over the years.
 
“It’s not just about making a deal,”says JoAnne. “It’s about cementing relationships that are ongoing. I always have a plan to follow up—I want to know how people are enjoying their home and how they progress in their lives.”
